History
A division of Hilmar Cheese Company, Hilmar Ingredients was established in 2004 following the acquisition of Proliant Dairy Ingredients. While Hilmar Cheese Company had manufactured the whey protein concentrate and whey protein hydrolysate marketed by Proliant Dairy Ingredients, the purchase incorporated all facets of the dairy ingredient business under the Hilmar Ingredients name and manufacturing site.
